Ok so COVID-19 is still around, even tho people kinda stopped talking about it like before. But it’s still important to know the symptoms cause yeah, it’s still a thing and people still getting it.
Most common symptoms are things like fever, cough (usually dry), and feeling super tired. Some people also get sore throat, runny nose, or headache, which kinda feels like regular flu honestly, so it’s hard to tell sometimes.
Loss of taste or smell is a big one — not everyone gets it but if you suddenly can’t taste your food or smell stuff, that’s a big red flag. Happened to my cousin and he didn’t even have fever, just that one weird symptom.
Some people get body pain, chills, or even stomach issues like diarrhea. And some don’t get many symptoms at all but still test positive. That’s what makes it tricky.
If it gets more serious, it can cause chest pain or trouble breathing — that’s when you really gotta go see a doctor or get help ASAP.
Also, symptoms show up around 2 to 14 days after you get exposed. So like, you could be walking around not knowing you’re infected. That’s why testing is still kinda important if you’re not feeling right.
Anyway, if you feel sick, better to stay home, rest, drink water and maybe do a test just in case. No need to panic but also don’t ignore it thinking it’s just a cold.
